Content use

Our guides are free to read and share with credit and a link back. Republishing whole articles, scraping, or reselling our content is not allowed.

You may quote a short excerpt with attribution and a working link to the original page. You may not copy an entire article, mirror the site, or feed our pages into a paid content product. If you want to translate a guide or use it in a classroom, ask first and we will usually say yes.

No professional advice

Everything here is general travel information, not a booking guarantee, a safety assessment or professional advice. Confirm prices, timetables, opening hours and conditions with the operator before you commit. Hire qualified guides and instructors for activities that need them, and make decisions using your own judgement and official sources.

Conditions change. Ferries are cancelled, trails close, hotels change hands and prices move between our check and your booking. We are not responsible for losses caused by relying on a guide that has since gone out of date. If a guide is wrong, tell us and we will correct it.

Changes

Updated terms take effect when posted; continuing to browse means acceptance. Questions? Email Contact.

We may also update individual guides as prices and conditions change. A correction is noted in public rather than quietly deleted. If you spot an error, tell us and we will fix it within 48 hours.
