AUSTRALIA HAS DIFFERENT LOCAL CURRENCIES IN EACH STATE & TERRITORY.

Australia has five different currencies: the Australian dollar (AUD), the New Zealand dollar (NZD), the Canadian dollar (CAD), the US dollar (USD) and the Great British pound sterling (£ GBP). The Australian dollar is what you’ll see on most ATMs, but if you’re traveling around Australia’s states and territories, it’s best to check which local currency they use before setting off.

The AUD is used in every state except Western Australia where they have their own currency called “West Australian dollars”. This means that if you want to buy something while visiting Perth or Darwin, know that they will charge you in West Australian dollars instead of Australian ones!

Australia is home to more than 4,000 native species of plants and animals. Many of these species are endemic–meaning they exist nowhere else on Earth.

Here are some of Australia’s most interesting creatures:

• The cassowary is the world’s largest bird, with a height up to 2 meters (6 ft 7 in) and weight up to 100 kg (220 lb). They’re also known for their bright blue neck pouch that they use as an egg incubator when they lay their eggs!
• Koalas live in eucalyptus trees where they eat leaves all day long. They have special claws so they can hold onto branches while eating without falling off! These marsupials only come out at night when no predators are around; otherwise koalas would be easy prey because they’re slow moving due to their large size and heavy fur coat which keeps them warm during cold nights in Australia’s tropical climate zones near creeks or rivers.* Kangaroos use their tails as rudders while jumping across open plains–they don’t have any bones inside them but instead muscles which allow them flexibility during movement.* Tasmanian devils look like small dogs but are actually carnivorous marsupials whose teeth never stop growing throughout their lives so when one dies another takes its place by fighting over food sources

This is why today’s Australians can be considered descendants of prisoners!

THE OLDEST CONTINUING EXISTING SETTLEMENT IN OCEANIA IS NEW ZEALAND’S PORT CHALMERS WHICH WAS ESTABLISHED BY SWEDISH SAILORS AND VESSEL ENGINEERED HANS NIELSEN IN 1844.

The Oldest Continually Existing Settlement in Oceania is New Zealand’s Port Chalmers which was established by Swedish sailors and vessel engineer Hans Nielsen in 1844.

Port Chalmers is located on Otago Harbour, New Zealand. It was named after Lord George Murray, who served as Governor-in-Chief of India during 1766-1772.

The town has a population of approximately 5,000 people and serves as a port for Dunedin city (about 15 km away).
