The Sphinx

The Great Zimbabwe Ruins are a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in southern Africa. The site was built by the Bantu people between the 11th and 15th centuries and is made up of granite stones.

The Okavango Delta

The Okavango Delta is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most iconic landmarks. It’s located in Botswana, which makes it easy to visit if you’re traveling through southern Africa. The delta covers more than 5,500 square miles (14,000 square kilometers) and is home to thousands of animals and birds including hippos, elephants and crocodiles.

If you want to visit the Okavango Delta for bird watching or just see what it looks like during different seasons: winter or summer; I recommend doing so between January and April when there are fewer tourists around than during other times of year.
