If you’re visiting from out of town or don’t have time to wait in line, we recommend buying one online before you travel so that when you arrive at JFK airport (or wherever), it will be waiting for you inside your hotel room/Airbnb rental/car rental company office with its deliciousness intact.*How much they cost: $5 each if purchased individually; $12-$15 if purchased in packs of five.*What do they taste like? Each variety tastes different depending on which filling has been used; however all are equally delicious! Some favorites include salted caramel and lemon meringue pie.*Why are they so popular? The name “Cronut” was invented by Dominique Ansel himself when he accidentally dropped a glazed donut into some oil while making doughnuts. The result was something that looked like a cross between the two pastries, but tasted even better than both!

If you’re looking for a sweet treat, this is the place to go. You can find just about anything here–from cookies to cakes and donuts. They also have ice cream sandwiches that are absolutely amazing! If you’ve never tried one before, now’s your chance!

The hours of operation are Monday – Thursday from 7am – 11pm; Friday from 7am – midnight; Saturday from 8am – midnight; Sunday from 9am – 10pm. To get there by public transportation: Take either the A/C/E train or 1/2/3 train until Canal Street then walk two blocks east on Canal Street until reaching Lafayette Street where you will turn right onto Lafayette Street heading south towards Prince Street which takes you directly inside Dominique Ansel Bakery’s front door entrance located between Spring & Prince Streets right next door where we’ll meet up later once I arrive today at around 6pm sharp so don’t forget our meeting time folks because otherwise we may miss each other entirely!
